Emma Rancich is super-enthusiastic (like a dog with a bone!), resourceful, and lovely to work with. She is young (at least in comparison to the retired cops who are often used as investigators), so she does a great job relating to teen & young adult client issues in terms of understanding their slang, relating to their relationships, interviewing witnesses, etc.  At the same time, she’s an Army vet and has been doing public defense interviews of police officers long enough to speak their language too. She’s also awesome with the online and technological aspect of cases – if it’s on social media or the internet, she’s going to find it.
